acre area is completely fenced and features park
benches, separate areas for timid and active dogs,
and water fountains for both people and dogs.
Owners are responsible for the behavior of their pet
while off-leash, and are requested to keep their
animals under control. A dispenser for doggie poop
bags is available at the entrance to the facility. A
complete list of regulations is posted on the fence
of the facility. (Starting May 6th, this facility will
be closed all day on Thursdays for maintenance.)

Comments: It is best to park in the lot on Black Rock
Rd. which is at the top of the park's hill. At the very
end of the road is the entrance to the woods where
dogs are welcome, they are also allowed on half of
the large hill, there are signs posted as to where
they are free to run. There are no fences but it is also
not near traffic, you should have control of your dog
when off it's leash or you can keep him on it. But if
your dog loves to chase balls and sticks and run in
large open land this is the place. Also there is a creek
that runs through the woods and the park- great for
cooling off.
